Richard Dent was an All-Pro defensive end for the Chicago Bears and a member of the 1985 NFL Champions. He was selected the MVP of Super Bowl XX, and continues to be the Bears all-time sacks leader.

After a long and successful NFL career, Richard became partner of First Communications, a telecommunications company that is one of the leading providers of integrated voice, data, and Internet based solutions aimed at helping growing businesses compete more effectively online in the 21st century.

Richard brings the same competitive desire and work ethic he exhibited on the gridiron to his own consulting firm, RLD Resources, LLC. RLD Resources was formed in the late 1990’s to provide telecommunications and energy solutions; natural gas management review; and liquid fuel management as well as solutions related to diversity management and governmental affairs to clients throughout the country. RLD Resources, LLC is a certified minority owned and operated business (MBE) in the State of Illinois.
